about us
So, who are we? We are two 10th graders who go Charlottesville High School, in Charlottesville, Virginia. We are both in the orchestra, and we both like art. Annie is more into photography, while I am more into drawing, painting, and art I can make with my hands. We first met in 5th grade, and we've been best friends ever since then.
ABOUT GABI:
I'm a Hungarian-American who loves horses, art, and food. Every summer, I travel to Hungary to visit my family. I am very clumsy, but it usually ends in me laughing. I've never broken a bone, but I've fallen off a horse many times.
ABOUT ANNIE:
Annie is a sports lover and a committed soccer player. She hates sitting still and would rather be running or playing soccer. She is an amazing photographer, and can always capture the best in everything.
q&a
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE COLOR?
Annie:
Gabi: It's a tie between lime green and pink. Watermelon colors!
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE ACTIVITIES TO DO IN YOUR PASTIME?
Annie:
Gabi: Riding horses, definitely. After that, reading, drawing, doing something crafty, or sleeping.
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU LISTEN TO WHILE COOKING?
Annie:
Gabi: Pump up music, something with a strong beat. It has to be something energetic and something that wakes me up.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE FOOD FROM THIS COOKBOOK FROM EACH CATEGORY?
Annie:
Gabi: That's a hard one because I like a lot of these. From the Breakfast Foods, definitely the Coconut Vanilla Granola, which isn't on the website. From the Lunch and Dinner Foods, the Salmon Pasta Salad. From the Desserts, it's a tie between the Rich Chocolate Ice Cream and the Banana Bread with Chocolate Chips (it's too hard to pick!) My favorite snack is is hands down the Cheesey Sour Cream Biscuits (they're delicious!)
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF THIS PROJECT?
Annie:
Gabi: My favorite part of this project was coming up with all the recipes and then testing them out. It was really cool to see how each recipe turned out because we were always surprised with how they turned out.
